Let's Go to the Beach!!!

Hiiiii

I just love the beach...don't you??

Giselle on the Beach

Who doesn't love going to the beach even if it is for a drive, to chill, or to take a dip??

As an island girl, I love the beach!! Going to the beach on a date may not be a bad idea after all....

Soooo I thought.....

Yes I ventured and went out with a guy to the Beach!!...I am not sure if to consider it a date after how things played out 😞

That date was a disaster for me as I felt uncomfortable with the person, he did not put out a cent on the date  (not even to purchase something to eat or drink for himself). It is to find out after that he did not walk with any money to spend on the date!!! Red flag....RUN. Not that I have a problem with paying but not for everything and on the first date also....(my word). Just continue RUNNING!!

Anyways.....I am over that and still think the beach is not a totally bad idea for a date and it is especially good for couples.

My top SIX (6) Beaches in Trinidad and Tobago will include:

1. Las Cuevas (north coast) - calm waters, safe parking for a few so get there early in the morning, wash room facilities, lifeguards on duty and you can pick up Bake n Shark before.

2. Maracas (north coast) - looking for a great lime then Maracas is the place to go. Easy access to food and bar. Mind you the water can be rough most times so be careful not to go take a dip with your date and end up rolling all over the place!
Maracas Beach

3. Balandra (northeast coast) - not as famous as Las Cuevas or Maracas but it is a really nice gentle beach for a dip and to chill with your date. Great for a picnic as well.

4. Pigeon Point - I just cannot leave out TOBAGO!! If you are in Tobago or going to Tobago, this is one of the best beaches to go on a date as there is a restaurant and bar on the beach. Nice blue and calm waters will bring a nice romantic vibe to your date.

5. Macqueripe Bay (north coast) - this beach is good for swimming and snorkeling with bathroom facilities, parking and a zip lining course overhead the Beach. This is actually a great location for a date so the drive is worth it as you can either chill on the beach or go zip lining with your date. Check out my post on Looking for Relaxation or an Adventure.

6. Columbus Bay (Southwest coast) - this beach tends to have a low tide most times so it is very good for a dip and chill vibe in the water. There are washroom facilities at this beach but it will be better to walk with food for a picnic.

So go ahead and don't be afraid to go to the Beach for a date.

  1. Yes agreed with all you noted here good recommendations, and well sorry about your beach date, hope he drove you to the beach though. Maybe you need to formulate a questionnaire as a pre condition before qualifying to go on a first date 😂

  3. I love the beaches in Trinidad because of the scenic route. But in terms of bathing, I prefer the beaches in Tobago such as Pigeon Point and Storebay. The beaches on the countryside are wonderful too. But then again with great company, food and drinks....a beach lime would be awesome any place!
